English as a Foreign Language (EFL) scholarships
Amount: Full tuition fee waivers for full-time English as a Foreign Language courses.
Eligibility: Open to you if you need English language training. Preference is given to you if you are from a country outside Western Europe. This is also open to asylum-seekers, refugees or Eastern European nationals currently living in the UK who need to improve their English language skills.
Criteria: Financial need.
Deadline: Open throughout the academic year.

Graduate Diploma in Architecture scholarship
This scholarship has been generously sponsored by the Tooley and Foster Partnership, one of the UK’s longest established architectural practices.
Amount: £2,000 per annum for two years, subject to satisfactory academic progress. If you are the selected student you will be given first refusal on a post in the Tooley and Foster Partnership practice. This will be in the summer at the end of your first year of the diploma and once you have graduated. There is no compulsion for you to take it up should you not wish to.
Eligibility: You must have been accepted for full-time study onto the Graduate Diploma in Architecture course and have confirmed with the Admissions Office that you have accepted their offer of a place.
Criteria: You will be evaluated based on your personal statement, aspirations in the field of architecture, academic excellence and engagement with the values and needs of the Tooley and Foster Partnership.
Application: You are required to submit an application package which consists of the following items:- a transcript of results from your first degree- one reference from your previous academic institution and one from your year out employer- a short statement (maximum 1000 words) setting out your general interest in the Graduate Diploma and your aspirations in the field of architecture, plus outlining your case for financial need.- a small A4 brochure (maximum 10 pages) showing examples of your design work, either from your first degree or from your year-out.
Deadline: 31 May 2008.
Short course- 'Nutrition in Emergencies'
Scholarships are available for the short course 'Nutrition in Emergencies', which will run from 1-5 September 2008.
Amount: Full tuition fee waiver, accommodation, living expenses and flights to and from London.
Eligibility: You must be from a developing country.
Criteria: Financial need and to be employed in the relevant sector in a country prone to disaster.
Deadline: 15 August 2008.
